Will changes made on the "Admin > Setting" page, affect my existing info？

Changes made on the Setting page refer to updates to system-wide default configurations, default terms and conditions, or default operational rules. These global defaults serve as templates for new data creation and do not retroactively affect or alter your existing tour packages, saved quotations, or historical records in UrbanSoft.

What Can I Do?

When updating your defaults on the Setting page, you can:

• Apply Rules to Future Content: Confidently update your standard price term, default inclusions/exclusions, or terms without worrying about disrupting existing active packages.

• Maintain Existing Data Integrity: Keep active tour packages, saved itineraries, and previous quotations intact exactly as they were created.

• Manually Adjust Specific Packages: If you want the new settings to apply to an existing tour package, you can manually open and update that specific package individually.

Example

For example, if you change your default cancellation policy on the Setting page from 7 days to 14 days, all newly created tour packages will automatically load the new 14-day policy. However, all existing tour packages created prior to this update will retain their original 7-day policy unless you manually update them.

Important Notes

• Updates on the Setting page apply strictly to newly created tour packages, itineraries, or workflow defaults after the changes are saved.

• Existing active packages and ongoing quotation transactions remain completely unchanged to protect data consistency and customer contracts.

• If a global change needs to be applied across existing tour packages, you must edit those specific packages directly.
