Will changes made on the "Setting" page, affect my existing "Tour Packages"?

This question addresses how updates made in the Setting page interact with previously created tour packages in UrbanSoft. In short, NO, any changes or updates made on the Setting page will not affect or overwrite your existing tour packages. The settings function as a baseline for new creations rather than a retroactive controller.

What Can I Do?

• Update System Defaults Freely: You can adjust default terms, inclusions, margins, or preset configurations on the Setting page without worrying about altering current active packages.

• Apply New Configurations to Future Packages: Any modifications made will automatically apply only to newly created tour packages moving forward.

• Manage Existing Packages Separately: If you need to update details on an existing tour package, you can edit that specific package directly without affecting global settings or other packages.

Example

For example, if you change your default tour terms and conditions on the Setting page today, all existing tour packages created yesterday or earlier will retain their original terms. Only tour packages created after the change, will reflect the new default terms and conditions.

Important Notes

• No Retroactive Effect: Default settings do not retroactively sync, or update data in existing tour packages.

• Package Independence: Existing packages operate independently once generated, preserving their original parameters.

• Individual Edits Required: If you wish to update existing packages with new settings, you must edit those specific tour packages manually.
