Folder What should be filled in the ‘Local’ and ‘English’ fields?

The Local field is used for information written in your native language, while the English field is used for the same information in romanized English.

For example:

  • Local Name: 张学友

  • English Name: Jacky Cheung Hok-yau

This format applies to relevant fields such as Company Name, Person In Charge Name, Address, City, State, and Country.

What Can I Do?

You can enter the same information in both formats:

  • Local: Your native-language version

  • English: The romanized English version

Make sure the information is entered consistently in both fields wherever applicable.

Example

If your company name is written in your local language, enter the local-language name in the Local field and its romanized English version in the English field.

The same principle applies to your name, address, city, state, and country.

Important Notes

  • Use your native language for Local fields.

  • Use the romanized form for English fields.

  • Keep the information consistent between both fields.

  • Complete both fields where they are provided and applicable.
