Folder What is same "Payment billing cycle"?

The same payment billing cycle refers to UrbanSoft's billing policy, where all add-ons are synchronized to the exact same billing frequency and renewal date as your primary subscription plan (either monthly or yearly). When you purchase add-ons in the middle of an active billing period, the platform prorates the fee—charging you only for the remaining time left in your current cycle—so that both your main plan and add-ons renew together on your original renewal date.

What Can I Do?

You can take advantage of the synchronized billing cycle in the following ways:

  • Add extra licenses or modules mid-cycle without paying for a full upfront period, paying only a prorated fee for the remaining days.

  • Align all feature subscriptions under a single renewal date to simplify expense tracking and invoicing.

  • Maintain consistency between monthly or yearly payment schedules across your primary plan and all attached add-ons.

Example

For example, if you subscribe to UrbanSoft on January 15, 2024, under a yearly plan, your billing cycle runs through January 14, 2025. If you purchase an add-on on June 15, 2024, you will only be charged a partial (prorated) fee covering June 15, 2024, to January 14, 2025. Starting January 15, 2025, the full annual payment for both the main plan and the add-on will be billed together for the new cycle.

Important Notes

  • Add-ons cannot have an independent renewal date or a different billing frequency from your main plan.

  • Mid-cycle add-on purchases trigger a prorated charge for the remaining period instead of full-period pricing.

  • Synchronized cycles ensure all recurring subscriptions appear on a single invoice upon renewal.
